Murchison falls are the top feature of Murchison Falls National Park, the conservation area is named after the fall and is one of the world’s most powerful water falls mentioned in the 7 wonders of the world, Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and oldest park situated in the northern Uganda in Nwoya district, it was gazette in the 1926 as a national park protecting the many variety species in the park, it is one of the top hot spot for travelers a must visit in the northern part of Uganda, it is one of the best places to see the gig four of the wilderness, it used to be home to the big five however in the early 1900’s the Rhinos went extinct in the national park.
