Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a Sejolyne Luxury Safaris who will transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park, he will meet brief you and proceed with the journey, the back drop of the land of a thousand hills is like one you never seen before, we will top over at the Nyanza palace for visits of the old traditional kingdom, it’s architectural Rwandan design is out of the world, we will arrive in time for a meal and an evening guided Nature walk within the park. Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the Uwinka Visitor Center for a morning briefing, the ranger guide will take you through in how to conduct yourself while with the primates, after which in groups of eight you will be lead into the forest, enjoy the hike as you look out for primate species, Chimpanzees are characterised by their social behavior, and intelligence, it is a beautiful place with many tree species, lianas and other climbing plants, an hour is allowed while with the primates and return to meet your guide for lunch and an afternoon Canopy walk along the long suspended bridge of the Nyungwe forest, an Ariel view of the forest is wonderful. Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu
Early morning breakfast after which we will transfer to Lake Kivu, the angelic islands dotted lake is an amazing place if Rwanda’, it is a deep volcanic lake presenting amazing views, we will check out of the lodge and hit the road to Lake Kivu, we will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Kivu, enjoy the lovely lake views and the adjacent forest at large. It takes 2-3 hours experiencing the Bio diverse environment we will return to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at
Lake Kivu Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National Park
In this day we will have something to eat after which we transfer to Akagera National Park, the conservation area was initially affected by the memorial genocide of 1994 which called for refuge of many Rwandese, the poaching and encroachment on land is one of the the great things that led to its reduction, how we thanks to the Rwandan government for the continued support, the park has regained its fame, the reintroduction of lions in the conservation area has made it a prime destination. Day 5: Game Drives and Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema
Morning tea or coffee and something to warm our tummies , we will assemble at the park headquarters for game drives in search of early morning risers, the morning time is a busy one of the wilderness, the cats come out to graze while the herbivores do graze, through the well distributed game tracks of the bio diverse ecosystem you will view vast wildlife, expect to see Lions, leopards, waterbucks, buffaloes, warthogs, Jackson hartebeests, to mention a few, we will return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon boat cruise along Lake Ihema, expect to see most of the water animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles, dinner and staying overnight at
Rusizi Tented Camp.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes national park is situated in the northern part of Rwanda’, it is one blessed destination with many features and things to see, it is popular for the mountain for the Mountain gorilla species and the Golden monkeys living amicably within the conservation area it takes 3 hours drive to arrive at the destination, we will reach just in time to have lunch and an afternoon entertainment from the Iby’iwacu community, they will show you through the Rwandan culture give you a queenly and Kindly treat. Day 7: Gorilla Trekking and Relaxation
We will transfer you to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking activity, morning briefing after during which you will be told in how to conduct yourself while with the Mountain gorillas, they are gentle wild species living in the forest, the gorillas are tracked in groups of eight per gorilla family, time taken depends on how far the primates have moved as they do not stay in one place, they keep shifting from one place to another in search of food, and water, an hour is allowed while with the Gorilla species later which we will return for an evening relaxation at the lodge dinner and staying overnight at
Bisate Gorilla Lodge.

Day 8: Departure
You will have a morning breakfast, after which we will checkout of the lodge and transfer to Kigali international airport for your flight back home.
