Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company who will transfer you to accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight, depending on the time you arrive, we will conduct a city tour through one of the cleanest towns of east Africa, visit the Kigali memorial genocide, a place of honour to the Rwandan people who lost their lives during the 1994 Rwanda genocide.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Morning breakfast, we will transfer to Volcanoes national park home to the Mountain gorillas, the journey from the capital city takes approximately +/-2 hours’ drive to the arrive at the destination, the back drop of the mountain is .dramatic and so very interesting, we will stop over enroute to have a picture moment, arriving for dinner and staying overnight at the
Bisate Gorilla Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Activity
Following a morning breakfast, we will transfer to the park headquarters for a morning briefing they forest hosts 30% of the remaining population of the mountain gorillas, the trek is strenuous but is rewarding by the end of the day, tracking is done in groups of eight per gorilla family, they live within the bamboo forest area of the national park, it takes 2 or more hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved. Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Morning breakfast, we will head into the national park through the well distributed game tracks in search of wildlife species, these live within the many scattered forest and grassy lands, through the open roof top cars, you will enjoy the best of the park, expect to see wildlife species like zebras, warthogs, lions, leopards to mentions a few afternoon transfer to begin your boat safari, expect to see more wild animals of the park along the banks of the river. Day 6: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, we will transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park, passing through the vast tea plantations via the Nyanza province, we will have a brief stopover at the Kings palace for great views of the old unique architectural design of the buildings in the ancient Rwanda states, and proceed to the national park arriving in time for a brief guided nature walk dinner and staying overnight at the
One and Only Nyungwe.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking And Canopy Walk
