Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Sejolyne Luxury Safaris tour guide who will transfer brief you after which we will transfer to the Volcanoes National Park, we will first have lunch and then proceed to the park, arriving for an evening entertainment from the Iby’iwacu community, they are locals believed to have been poachers, these later embraced the tourism and have learned to show travelers their ways of life. Dinner and staying overnight at
Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Gorilla Trekking Activity
Following breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for Gorilla Trekking Activity a briefing will be conducted by the park rangers, and in groups of eight you will start the trail hike, tracking time depends on how far the gorilla families have moved, enjoy the walk it might be tiring but rewarding by the end of the day as you meet the gentle brown eyed species, these are amazing to see as they do their daily activity without minding human presence. You have only an hour to interact with gorilla species returning for dinner and staying overnight at
Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 3: Hiking Dian Fossey
Early morning breakfast, we reassemble at the park headquarters for hiking the Dian Fossey the American primatologist lived with in the forest region at one of the research centers, her great works on conservation of mountain gorillas is evident, however this did not last for so long as she was murdered in cold blood and buried with the gorilla species she loved most, paying tribute to the late is an adventurous walk as towards her grave, there are a number of bird and plant species. Returning for dinner and staying overnight at
Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 4: Departure
Morning tea or coffee after which we will transfer to the Kigali for our international flight.
